Pula & Chia
White dunes and long beaches
Pula, a village known for tourism and its animated local centre, is one of the most charming places on the south-west coast with any kind of summer activities, beautiful white sandy beaches with pine forests behind, bays of transparent waters and a peculiar microclimate, unique to this island, which guarantees mild temperatures all year round.
Not far from the lively town centre and the local beach is Nora, a large Roman amphitheatre that lies directly on the sea and is used for a famous Theatre festival in summer. This place is worth a visit for its lovely, open setting, especially at sunset.
Pula is also famous for the international Is Molas Golf Club, the largest golf course in Sardinia and one of the most technically satisfying and spectacular courses not just in Italy, but in the whole Mediterranean area. The presence, along the course, of all the typical species of Sardinia’s native flora and the Mediterranean macchia makes Is Molas Golf Club a beautiful garden with a view of the sea. A reign of silence submerged in the scent of the brushwood.
The renowed Chia dunes and its long golden beaches are only a few kilometres away.
